Hand Dyed Knitted Beanie Hat - Brown Tonal Merino Wool, OOAK
Hand dyed Merino wool and knitted by yours truly, in a color I call “Castano” It’s a deep brown tonal/semi-solid yarn. Each time this knitted beanie is purchased, it is made to order; the yarn is hand dyed and then knitted custom just for you! This is what makes these hats so unique and individual. Although dyed in small batches with the same process, different fibers and artistic mood create a unique finished yarn. There is no dye lot for a hand dyed yarn as each skein is unique as it is created! Every knitted beanie is truly one of a kind!
You can choose to have a pom pom on your beanie or without.
This is a soft, worsted weight beanie, and can be machine washed but should be laid flat to dry for longer life. This beanie hat has also been knitted as a double layer, for extra warmth and thickness!
Why choose natural fiber wool for your winter hat?
- A natural insulator: wools fibers are designed to trap in warm air, keeping you warm without the bulk.
- Moisture- wicking: wool wicks away sweat, as well as repels moisture from rain or snow to keep you warm and dry.
- Breathability: wool is surprisingly breathable, which regulates body temperature and prevents you from getting too hot.
- Durability: unlike synthetic materials, wool is extremely resilient! When washed and cared for properly, it can maintain its shape and will bring you years of wear.
Due to the process of hand dying each skein of yarn, these hats require 5-7 business days to create.
